The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is most prestigious talent search and examination for school students. It has 2 stages, in both the stages; students are assessed on subjects like Mental Ability (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) comprising Mathematics, Science and Social Science. The entire syllabus for NTSE Stage 1 is based on class 9 and 10 syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Science, Mathematics and Social Science. The paper is most simplified for the students who study line by line, text books of Maharashtra State Board ,while Stage 2 has NCERT syllabus if Std 9 and 10.
The test paper of Mental Ability, depends on your Practice of various kinds of problems.
Scholarship of Rs 1250 per month will be paid 11th and 12th std and Rs 2000 per month on later programs after the successful completion of NTSE Stage 2.
Finally success it all depends on students and guidance center as schools are more interested in formal education rather than promoting or motivating students for competitive exams.
