Std VI and IX Dr Homi Bhabha Bal Vaidyanik Examination 2016

Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition is conducted by The Mumbai Science Teachers Association science 1981 for the student of std VI and IX of English and Marathi medium. This  competition is conducted in four stages (i.e. written test, practical test, action research project and viva) .

Registration at School from 1st July upto 16 July 2016

Phase 1- Written Test – 24th Sept 2016 (100 multiple choice questions based on Science & G.K.in science) 

Selection Procedure – Top 7.5% students will be selected for phase II. 

Syllabus for the Test for Std 6 – Textbooks of IV, V and VI std of SSC syllabus and
Content related to the above from ICSE and CBSE books for 6th std.

Syllabus for the Test for Std 9- Textbooks of VII ,VIII and IX std of SSC syllabus and
Content related to the above from ICSE and CBSE books for 9th std.

Std V – XII National Mathematics Talent Contest (NMTC) Examination 2017

The Association of Mathematics Teachers of India(AMTI)  has announced their date for NMTC Preliminary Examination for Std 5 to Std 12

The basic aim of the test is – To discover and encourage students who have the capacity for original and creative thinking, readiness to attack unfamiliar and non-routine problems exhibiting a general mathematical ability appropriate to their level. (Class 5 to 12)

Examination Fess – 50 Rs.

Date of Examination – 27 Aug 2016

Last date of Registration – 15 July 2016

Syllabus – The syllabus for Mathematics Olympiad (Regional, National and International) is pre-degree college mathematics.  The areas covered are, mainly Algebra, Geometry, Number theory, Graph theory & combinatorics.
